Vicki is the Community and Public Affairs Coordinator for Fluor, a global engineering construction company. She manages all activities for the Fluor Cares volunteer program in the Houston office, including coordinating all community relations volunteer activities, leading the Fluor Cares Steering Committee, building strategic partnerships with local charities and schools, and assisting with community giving. Vicki is also Flour’s Global Administrator for the company’s employee volunteer program. In her first year with Fluor, volunteer hours for the Houston office increased by 50 percent.

Before starting her career at Fluor, she was in the education sector for eight years working in public and community relations at Houston Community College and Houston Independent School District (HISD). While at HISD, she increased the number of volunteers from 29,000 to 80,000 in her five year tenure.

Vicki graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. She received a Master’s Degree in Liberal Arts from the University of St. Thomas.
She currently serves on the Corporate Community Relations Council Board of Directors as the Secretary and the NCAA Final Four Houston Local Organizing Volunteer Committee. Vicki is a graduate of the Fort Bend Leadership for Non Profit Excellence Program and has been accepted to participate in the Fort Bend Leadership Forum in Fall 2016. She has also served on various non-profit committees in the Greater Houston area.
She enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering, traveling and running.
